We negotiate contracts on behalf of professional hockey players to ensure that they receive the maximum compensation throughout their careers. We also provide players with up-to-date collective bargaining rights information and take care of any day-to-day maintenance that may be required to ensure the player can focus solely on hockey.

We strive to provide our players other avenues to market their image off the ice and earn additional income. Whether this is through endorsement deals locally, or on a larger scale, it is our mission to assist in enhancing our player’s image and to advocate their areas of interest.

We assist with obtaining and providing clients specialized programs designed for their development. Our staff will complete comprehensive video analysis throughout the season to provide appropriate feedback and to prepare a player’s off-season training program.

It is vital that our players are well equipped to become educated on their finances, taxes, insurance needs and asset management. In association with financial, tax and insurance professionals, we ensure that our players have the proper advice and guidance throughout their careers in these critical areas.

We provide support and assistance to our players when it comes to the unique challenges they face on and off the ice. We understand that professional hockey players live in high-stress environments, and we are committed to ensuring our players have a support system when difficult times arise. We also assist with the transition to life after hockey to alleviate any concerns and difficulties players may encounter. We provide options to our players whether that includes staying in the industry or looking to other options to best fit their lifestyle, their family and career goals.

• We guide and assist amateur players and their families with respect to important decisions including the decision of playing in the Canadian Hockey League, the United States Hockey League, Canadian Junior “A” Hockey, or the National Collegiate Athletic Association (“NCAA”). Players currently have more options than ever for their development, however having appropriate and experienced advice is essential to navigate the various opportunities a player may have.
• We also provide specific directions and guidance for our amateur players to ensure they are receiving the proper training both on and off the ice. During all aspects of a player’s career, development is critical therefore we ensure that our amateur clients build a proper foundation with professional habits early in their careers.
• For players entering the NHL Draft, we will formulate a plan to assist in preparing and promoting them during this entire process including the NHL Combine.
• For players that end up playing NCAA hockey, we will advise players and their families to ensure they maintain academic eligibility, guidance during the recruiting process and preparation for admission to an NCAA affiliated school.
• We also work with Aura Hockey Advisors, who specialize in advisory services to assist in a player’s development and promote them to various organizations, programs and leagues.
